Ingredients
- 15ml (1 tbsp) vegetable oil
- 4 hamburger buns
- 1 tsp fresh dill, chopped
- 1 apple, minced
- 80ml (⅓ cup) mayonnaise
- 15ml (1 tsp) Sriracha sauce
- 2.5ml (½ tsp) curry powder
- 15ml (1 tbsp) fresh ginger, chopped
- 450 g ground chicken
- 5ml (1 tsp) curry powder
- 15ml (1 tbsp) fresh ginger, chopped
- 30ml (2 tbsp) fresh coriander, chopped
- 30ml (2 tbsp) fresh dill, chopped
- 10ml (2 tsp) maple syrup
- 5ml (1 tsp) Worcestershire sauce
- 30ml (2 tbsp) of bread crumbs
- salt & pepper, to taste
Method
- Add the ground chicken in a bowl along with the patties ingredients. Shape four compact patties. Refrigerate.
- Combine the spicy mayo ingredients then set aside.
- Heat the oil over medium heat in a large pan and bake the patties for 4 to 5 minutes on each side or until the centre of the patty is well done.
- Mix 1 tbsp of spicy mayo with the dill and apple slices.
- Grill the buns. Spread spicy mayo onto each bun and top with a patty and apple slices.
