maple icing

Ingredients

  • 125 ml (1/2 cup) butter
  • 125 ml (1/2 cup) maple spread or maple sugar
  • 60ml (1/4) cup milk
  • 500g (3 cup) icing sugar

Method

  1. Melt the butter in a small saucepan.
  2. Add the maple spread or sugar and milk and mix until homogeneous. 
  3. Remove from stove and let cool for 15 minutes
  4. Add the icing sugar one cup at a time and mix until all the sugar is absorbed in the mix.
