maple pecan crusted salmon

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon filets (150g each) 600g of salmon
  • 30 ml (2 tbsp) maple syrup
  • 15 ml (1 tbsp) Dijon mustard
  • 1 cup pecans
  • 15 ml (1 tbsp) olive oil

Method

  1. Preheat the BBQ or the oven to 425C.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the maple syrup and dijon mustard.
  3. Spread the sauce onto the fish.
  4. Finely chopped the pecans.
  5. Into the same bowl you used for the sauce, combine chopped pecans and olive oil.
  6. Spread the nut mixture on the salmon.
  7. Cook for 12-14 minutes (depending on salmon width).
